Many thanks for your prayers and greetings.  After 11.00 a.m. Mass please make your way round to the back garden for our bring and share lunch.  The actual anniversary falls on 31st, so on Friday Mass will be at 11.30 a.m. to enable priests from the Deanery and across the Diocese to share the celebrations.  Afterwards the clergy will adjourn to The Angel for lunch.  My ordination took place at Our Lady of Lourdes, Leigh-on-Sea, and was rather less elaborate than the 1870 illustration!
