As we all look forward to celebrating Fr Gordon’s 50th Anniversary of his Ordination, the Parish Spirituality Team has been thinking how to provide all parishioners with opportunities to accompany him spiritually during the weeks leading up to the actual day of his ordination, July 31st, the feast of St Ignatius of Loyola. The first gift we thought appropriate to give him as a parish, is to pray a Rosary in thanksgiving for each year of his priesthood and for abundant blessings in the years still to come. To give everyone the opportunity to take part, we are asking parishioners to pray just one Rosary, on the day or their choice, between Monday 14th and July 30th. We need to cover every single day on the list. So please, sign in as you leave the church or as soon as you can in the following weeks and make sure you make a note of the date chosen so we can keep the prayers flowing. THANK YOU!
