On Sunday 8th November there will be a Civic Service in St Peter’s Church, Coggeshall, at 10.30 am, followed by an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial when the names of the Fallen will be read and wreathes laid. (The 10.30 am Civic Service will not be a eucharist). The Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial will start at approximately 11.45 am and it would be lovely if a representative of St Bernard’s would be able to read some of the list of names as we did last year. All are welcome of course to attend the 10.30 am Remembrance Day Service in St Peter’s at 10.30 am. On Wednesday 11th November (Armistice Day itself) there will be a service at the War Memorial at 10.50 am again with the names of the Fallen to be read and wreathes laid. A reader for this service from St Bernard’s would be most welcome to come and read some of the list of the Fallen. In Tiptree the act of remembrance at the War Memorial takes place on Sunday afternoon at 2.20 p.m. followed by a service at Tiptree URC (3.15 p.m.).
