On Saturday 18, the 'travelling' statue of Our Lady of Walsingham was blessed after our retreat Mass by Fr Gordon. The statue of Our Lady, had began touring our parish visiting the homes of families who wish to host her for a week and honour her with prayer.

Praying a Fiat Rosary every day for the intentions of the family and the parish is recommended. Instructions for the Fiat Rosary and a votive candle are included in the travelling basket with Our Lady. However, you can alternatively, or also pray any of the prayers included in the little prayer book that has been distributed throughout the parish since the latest weeks of Advent.

If you and your family would like to host Our Lady, there are still some spaces available in the current list. You will find it at the back of your church every Sunday. A new list with later dates will be available once this one is full.
