Our church in Kelvedon is the only one in our parish with no altar servers to support Fr Gordon at Sunday Mass and special celebrations. While we have been under Covid restrictions, this has not been so evident, but this will change as the Easter celebrations approach.

Because this is one of the few ministries children can take part in, we have in the past favoured young people in this role. However, this is a job suited to people of all ages - men and women alike! Why not have father and son, or mother and daughter, or any other combination serving at the altar?
