The event is a Taizé service to be held in Colchester on Saturday 4th October 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in St. Theresa’s RC Church, Clairmont Road, Colchester, CO3 9BE. The event is in conjunction with the Green Christian Group and is entitled ‘Peace with Creation’. It will commence at 4:30 pm with a presentation about Creation and taking care of our planet. This will be followed by a discussion session and a buffet tea before the Taizé service starts at 6. If you have not heard of us, Cantus Firmus is a charitable trust based in Suffolk and Essex. Our aim is to enrich the worship, mission and spiritual lives of Christian worshipping communities and individuals through the use of the creative arts, and especially of music. We form choirs to lead or perform at church services in the North Essex area. The ‘ad hoc’ choirs comprise people from churches in the same area and usually a few rehearsals are needed before each event.
