The ceiling panels have now been replaced—many thanks to Colin Cansdale who carried out the work and Colin Kemp who put much time into preparation, organising the three quotations required by the Diocese, and hands on during the week.  The two heaters closest to the altar have been removed as they were considered too close to the ceiling, and the gas heaters have been decommissioned—now serving as tables for flowers!  We have also been given a new altar cloth by the Mercy Sisters at Tilbury whose convent is closing.
