Part of the work of SVP Chelmsford Conference is to be actively involved in their local prison, HMP Chelmsford. As a Parish, we have been invited to participate in their new incentive, 'Pray for a Prisoner'. It is a truly wonderful opportunity to be involved in assisting individuals that are in need of prayers. It could be that they are suffering from anxiety, ill health, addiction, bereavement or it may be that the individual is about to be released from prison. If you feel that you could prayerfully support a prisoner for a month or however long you feel you can, then someone will be available after Sunday Masses on the 4th August . You will be given the name of a prisoner that will be solely for you. Because of safeguarding we are unable to pass any further information on. We do not need any details from you.
