The Solemnity of Pentecost, celebrated 50 days after Easter, falls this year on May 19^th. In Pentecost we celebrate that Christ having returned to the glory of the Father, makes himself present in the hearts of men and women through His Spirit and also, the birth of the Church. As a parish, we are very grateful for all the blessings we have received since our consecration and would like to call the Holy Spirit to continue his transformative work on us. In preparation to receive this grace, we would like as many parishioners as possible to join us praying the Novena to the Holy Spirit from MAY 10^th - MAY 18^TH. During that same period, we will honour our Lord with an hour of Exposition and Benediction after every daily Mass and pray the Novena. On Sunday 12^th, however, Adoration will take place before 6pm Mass in Tiptree. If you would like to join us on one or more days in Adoration, please, write your name on the list at the back of the church. Otherwise, please take home a copy of the Novena we will be praying and pray with us on your own time. In the light of the Spirituality of Walsingham let us pray: ‘Come Holy Spirit, come to us through Mary’. Amen
