Pat Richardson kindly took on the editorship of the Newsletter at the request of Fr Arthur when he knew he would be moving, so she has fulfilled this role with great generosity for more than 21 years.  She would like to step down at the end of the year, so we need to plan ahead. 

Currently the Newsletter is prepared using ‘Publisher’ as this is allows greater flexibility in layout and printing. Pat has a template and chooses an appropriate design for the front page with details of the readings. I forward material for inclusion on Thursday morning and other items as received. Pat then usually comes into the parish office and photocopies the Newsletter on Friday morning. However, it is possible to print directly from the computer so the file could be emailed for me to print as long as I have it by Saturday morning. 

Pat has also maintained out database/address list for mailings such as the Christmas card, but this is in essence a separate task that could be undertaken by someone else.
