This is the website for the parish of St Mary Immaculate & The Holy Archangels. Although the parish is centred in Kelvedon, Essex it also includes the churches of St Bernard at Coggeshall and St John Houghton in Tiptree.

The parish covers a fairly large, rural part of Essex - it includes 13 villages. The parish is vibrant, friendly and welcoming; extending a warm invitation to all who wish to take part in Mass, attend a social event, or visit with family and friends.

Parish Quiz Night - 20 April 2018
St John Houghton - Tiptree

Another fun quiz much enjoyed by everyone. Mary's Marvels came out on top - well done to all in their team. Many thanks to Gloria, Viv and Sarah for organising the questions and food. Thanks to Michael and John for keeping tabs on the scores. The evening raised £295 for Besters, our twin parish in South Africa.

Tiptree Rosary Group at Walsingham

Five parishioners from the Tiptree Rosary Group braved the freezing temperatures to attend the Spirituality of Walsingham Retreat last week at Dowry House, Walsingham. They explored the history of Walsingham and were introduced to the spirituality of the Word Incarnate through the understanding of Mary's FIAT and the principles of the Divine Will. They also joined the sisters of the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham in their daily praying routine and enjoyed their hospitality. There was even a chance to go to Mass at the Catholic Shrine, visit the Slipper Chapel and do some shopping! A great weekend all round! (If you need the names they are from left to right, Celia Butt, Roma Raymond, Sue Petchey and Mary Mann)
